3 to 5 years of multispecialty medical coding experience
CPC or CCS certification preferred
Strong knowledge of Gastroenterology Surgery coding (e.g., Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, etc.)
Expertise in E/M coding, level of service selection, and appropriate modifier application
Proficient in ICD-10-CM coding
Knowledge of Infusion, Injection, Hydration, Therapeutic, and Chemotherapy coding
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures across GI, EM, and Infusion specialties
