EM (Clinic/Op, Hospital (Inpatient/Observation), CCM, TCM, Critical care & Behavioral Health Coder.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of E/M Coding Guidelines
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding
- Knowledge of telehealth coding, POS guidelines, and modifiers
- Familiarity with payer-specific coding and billing guidelines
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience reviewing and interpreting physician documentation
- Hands-on experience in coding-related denials resolution
- Knowledge of psychotherapy, psychiatry, and behavioral health coding along with EM.
Certification Requirements
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder) or
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist)
