Experience Required:
  • Strong experience in Evaluation & Management (E/M) coding
  • Expertise in Surgery coding across multiple specialties
  • Hands-on experience with Emergency Department (ED) coding
  • Knowledge of Multispecialty professional coding
  • Typically 8+ years of medical coding experience with team leadership exposure
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor coding teams handling E/M, Surgery, ED, and Multispecialty accounts.
  • Ensure coding accuracy, productivity, and compliance with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and payer guidelines.
  • Conduct quality audits and provide feedback to coders.
  • Analyze coding trends, denials, and revenue cycle impacts.
  • Support client communications and operational reviews.
  • Implement process improvements and training initiatives.
  • Monitor KPIs, SLA adherence, and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with managers and stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
  • CPC, CCS, or equivalent coding certification.
  • Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer guidelines.
  • Experience leading teams, conducting audits, and managing performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple specialties and complex coding scenarios.
