We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to manage projects for a potential client while ensuring effective coordination, execution, and delivery. The role will also include accountability for select development activities and collaboration with operation teams to ensure project requirements and timelines are met.
As part of the PMO team, the individual will also contribute to broader project governance, reporting, process improvement, and other PMO initiatives as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, tracking, and delivery for client-facing projects.
- Serve as the primary coordination point between the client, internal stakeholders, development teams, and other functions.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Track project progress, identify risks and roadblocks, and drive timely resolution.
- Maintain project plans, status reports, dashboards, RAID logs, and other PMO documentation.
- Provide accountability and oversight for assigned development activities, ensuring deliverables are aligned with requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with development teams to track requirements, priorities, defects, releases, and dependencies.
- Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, decisions, and action items to relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
- Monitor project performance against agreed timelines, scope, and quality expectations.
- Support client meetings and presentations with clear and data-driven project updates.
- Identify opportunities to improve project processes, governance, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to PMO initiatives, reporting, audits, and process standardization.
- Take ownership of additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the PMO leadership.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or a similar role.
- Experience managing technology/software development projects is preferred.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is required.
- Strong project planning, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management and productivity tools.
- Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
